An interesting will of John Grubb Jr., b. 1 Nov. 1684 of Brandy-
wine Hundred Del. d. 15 Mar. 1758, md. Rachel Buckley, 4 Apr. 1690
d. 15 Dec. 1752. Ex. Adam, Samuel and William Grubb. wit. Emanuel
Grubb Jr., George Davis and Adam Buckley. It is apparent from the
will that Richard had incurred disfavor, for he left him one shilling
no more, and named his four ch: Rachel, Hannah, George and Richard
Grubb. While the other boys were left tracts of land ch: William,
