J. C. Milner, born 8 Aug 1892 and died 20 Mar 1974 in Barnesville, Belmont County, Warren Township. He married Adda Moore. John Clinton " Nickname, Casey" Milner, son of the late William Seaman and Mary E. Daniel Nickname "Molly" died Wednesday morning March 20, 1974 at 8:30 A.M. in Barnesville Hospital. He was born August 8, 1892 in the old Milner Tavern, between Morristown and Lloydsvile. From the time he was 15 to the age of 40, he worked as a farm hand in Ohio and Illinois. He was a cow puncher in the Choctaw nation, in Oklahoma, a hard rock miner in the gold mines of northern California, a lumberjack, coal miner, and a restaurant keeper. From the age of 40 until retirement at 65 he was a carpenter and building contractor. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and an active member of the Eulalia Odd Fellows Lodge No. 196 of Morristown since 1917. Surviving are his wife Adda Moore Milner of Morristown;
