Michael Lounsberry born Sept. 12, 1744, died very old -"well onto 100". He was a private in the 9th regiment militia at New York 1776 Commanded by Nathaniel Webb during the Revolutionary War. Commanded by Lt. Col John Mead, in Nathanial Webb's company which marched Aug. 12, 1776 and he was discharged Sept. 6, 1776. He was a Major in the New York State Militia.

He was born in Stamford, 1744.
