| A surprise to everyone A surprise to everyone, it turns out that Alexander was related to Cornelius. These two lines are only one genetic distance apart. It is believed that Alexander was the brother of Edward, and that their father was Thomas who immigrated from London to Jamestown, VA, in 1620. ALSO, we have located three Williams surname descendants who are an exact match to the Edward/Cornelius line. One of the Williams’ tested still lives in Wales. Back at the time to selecting last names, did one branch of the family select Maddox and the other branch select Williams? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
